Ive been sick with a cold lately. But hopefully it will be over with soon. In the mean time Ive been trying to work on projects for display for my store when it opens, how ever production has been slow due to me being sick. In the mean time I will be sharing different stores that I like. So just bare with me and I'll keep you updated.

A Busy Weekend

Sorry I haven't posted recently, I've been sick with a cold this past week, and still am a bit. I decided to try out some new ideas to throw in my store, and thus I made a pair of gloves, this wintery collar, and I am half way done with a scarf. Above are some pictures of how everything turned out, except the collar. Anyhow, I hope you enjoy the pics!! <3

Wow this person has some pretty cool looking bags. Im new to bag making and her bags seem to be quite inspirational. I wonder if she knitted them or if she crochet'd them. They have a clean feel to them though. Either way they are very lovely. Though I think she'd do well if she had more colors available to choose from like blue or pink or red or green. Even varigated bags would be neat to see too. <3

Another Day Another Project

So yeah, I started this blanket for a friend of mine as a birthday present but then I ran out of purple and I cant get anymore of the shade I need until this weekend. So I then decided to go ahead and start my next afghan that Im going to be listing up, and its turning out very lovely. How ever this one I am not going to post pictures of, because I don't want my idea stollen.... How ever you'll get to see it once my store opens. Im aiming for the end of the month but more than likely it wont be till the end of next month when I get my first paycheck. Ah well It gives me more time to make stuff.

Relaxing

Well I finished up some major projects yesterday and thus today I decided to relax. Who knows maybe I will win some more contests or something.. LOL

Sorry I didnt update this weekend, I've been busy making stuff. I am wanting to do a really nice fall themed blanket, but I can't figure out a good pattern to use for the odd colors I have. They are all left over skiens my grandmother gave me, so I really have no clue what to put together with them. The colors are Gold, Autumn Red, Brown, Cafe, this burnt orange color, and then a varigated that has those colors and green in it. If you have any ideas please share links!! <3

Well we finally got my dog's tooth pulled. He looked so miserable, I couldn't help but feel sad for him. He's so adorable it isn't funny! It's really hard to stay mad at him too. Anyhow, when the nurse took him to get ready for the operation, he tried so hard to follow me out the door cause he was ready to go home. He didn't want to be left there without me. But alas he had to be left for an hour so the medication could wear off. But once I got home, he stuck to me like glue and sat in my lap or on my bed and when I got up to go somewhere he got up and followed me. He wont let me put him on the floor... he clings to me even more when I tried to do that after I got home. I guess thats his way of saying "Mommy don't ever leave me alone like that again!!" Though can you blame him?

Make Me A Banner contest

So yeah, I am going to hold a contest of sorts. What you do is you make me a banner for my blog, and the one that I like best, gets their etsy store featured in my next bog. The contest ends July 31st. The banner must have a whimsical type theme to it, mixed with a fantasy feel. Colors are open, but make sure they look good together. Try to use pictures from my blog in it if you can.

Busy Day Ahead

Today I plan to completely finish that throw, and try to finish my grandmother's afghan. How ever I doubt I will be able to completely finish it in 1 day but I am certain I can get alot done in 1 day. So hopefully if all goes well, I will at least get 25% to 30% of it done. Right now Im around 15% completed.

Today I am taking my dog to the vet to have a tooth pulled. The poor thing.. his baby tooth wont fall out and its causing a tooth infection, so we have to get it pulled today. I hate the site of blood... Im not sure how that will do with him, but I guess only time can tell on this matter.

A Major Update

So yeah I revamped my page, and I adjusted the font so its easier to read. I worked on my throw late last night, and I am more than half way done. All I have left is to join the big squares and add the border. I intend to do that tonight sometime. Once I finish I will work on my grandmother's afghan. <3

Alas! I know I have already posted, but I wanted to share with you this throw. It's not very big, probably good enough for a small child. It will be going up for sale in my etsy shop, once I open it. :) Its not the same one as my previous post, this one is different. <3 It's kind of what inspired my layout. But I most likely will change it.

I finally figured out how to edit my blog. So what do you guys think?

And low and behold I now have some previews to show you of items I will be listing in my shop. The first image is of a wash cloth, the 2nd image is a set of scrunchies, the 3rd image is of the throw I keep talking about. Its so you can see the colors I am using. I will post a picture of the final product when I am done. The 4th image, is an afghan I am making for my grandmother. That's what one of the squares looks like. :) So please lemme know what you think! <3

Afghans Today, Money Tomorrow

Alas, I am almost finished with my throw. It's a brightly colored one. The colors are pink, turquoise, green and purple. I couldnt find the exact color of purple, so I wound up using grape.. it was a bit darker than I wanted, but I'll survive. Ah well. Life goes on, and then you get lemonaide!!

Speaking of which, I think I shall make me some today. I wish I had some real lemons to put in with it.

Etsy Promotions

Well I don't have my store up yet, but I am excited. It will be opened soon. I just gotta save up some money to start a banking account, and get some items listed. I already have a few items made up for my store. I am focusing on mostly afghans, and baby blankets, and throws, and embellished pillows, and scarves and what ever else I can think of to make. If you have any ideas for me to make please contact me and let me know!! I will gladly post some pictures of items I plan to list, later on. Though I dont want my ideas stolen....

So yes, please please list ideas that you'd like to see!! I am also planning to make ankle socks too!! So keep checking back, for the grand opening!!
